•  Kotak Mahindra net up 85.77pc at Rs 69.20 cr 
New Delhi, May 9: Kotak Mahindra Bank today said its net profit has increased 85.77 per cent to Rs 69.20 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 37.25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The total income has increased 54.11 per cent to Rs 803.02 crore for the quarter ended March 2008 from Rs 521.06 crore in the same period a year ago, a statement said.

Patna, May 9: The Bihar unit of the Congress today demanded an all party probe into the alleged corruption in road projects in the state. The Congress also asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to reveal the reasons for awarding the tender of road constructions in Patna to Tantia Constructions on 29 per cent higher rate.
